Contacted Lawrence dispatch today due to finding a stray dog that was injured. Was told officers will be dispatched, they just didn't know when, so after two hours of working with the dog it got in my car and we brought him home. Contacted dispatch again to notify them this happened and to please come get him from our home and was told that they are not dispatching any one to do so. If I was unable to get him in the car I wonder if I would have been stuck with the dog outside. Thank you for wasting my time, I'm hoping Indianapolis Animal Car services can take him in and get him the help he needs.
